It celebrates retro charm and memories of childhood holidays—outdoor showers, fire pit nights and quiet breakout spaces. Luxury extras aren’t needed here; it’s naturally ventilated, cooled by sea breezes and ceiling fans, as it was meant to be. Perfect for couples, pet friendly, and the best part is it’s only a flat 150m walk to Collingwood Beach and Vincentia Village and cafés.

TicketyBoo Beach Shack is designed for relaxed living, with multiple cosy indoor and outdoor spaces to spread out, unwind and find your own quiet corner. There’s a comfortable living area, a laid-back dining space, and easy flow to the garden and outdoor areas for long meals, reading in the sun or evenings by the BBQ and fire pit (when permitted). Upstairs, the two bedrooms are a real highlight — both generously sized, each with its own sitting area, and designed as near-perfect mirror images of one another. No “best room” here, and no need to negotiate — everyone gets the same amount of space, comfort and privacy.

Other Details to Note

Ticketyboo Beach Shack features wooden stairs and balconies as part of its original design. While families may enjoy staying here, children should be closely supervised, especially on stairs and balcony areas. We had a lovely stay at Ticketyboo. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with 70’s style utensils. The beds were so comfortable and the fans adequate to keep us cool on one of the hottest weekends of the holiday period. We loved sitting out the front with a gin and tonic and the netted dining area out the back gave us a bug free bbq experience. A gorgeous beach was 5 minutes away and all the shops you will need 10 mins away. We highly recommend a stay at this accommodation.
