House Rules

The Twig is in a quiet neighbourhood. Please respect those around us and ensure you do not cause any disturbance with loud noise or music. We do not accept bookings for any parties, schoolies, hens or bucks celebrations. We do not accept groups of guests under the age of 25, a responsible adult must be in attendance at all bookings. No additional visitors beyond those on the booking are allowed onto the property at anytime. Please do not wear shoes inside the house and brush off sand before entering. Please take all your rubbish to outside bins in sealed bags before you check out. If you are staying on a Thursday night, please take outside bins to the end of the drive for collection on Friday morning. Red landfill rubbish is taken weekly and yellow recycling is taken fortnightly, check the street to see whether our neighbours are putting recycling out during your stay. Please then return the bins to the side of the house once they have been collected on Friday morning. Please be courteous to our cleaners and leave the house in a reasonable state. All damages and breakages must be paid for. No pets. We are bound by the NSW government Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry and as a guest, you are required to abide by these laws. These regulations outline behaviour standards which include ensuring noise does not disturb neighbours, your responsibility for any damage caused to the property and your responsibility for the behaviour of any other guests in your group.

Jervis Bay White sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters have earned Jervis Bay international acclaim for being one of the most spectacular destinations in the world, all less than three hours from Sydney and just two and a half from Canberra. Whether you’re a beach bum, walker, cyclist, water sports enthusiast, nature explorer, foodie or beer & wine lover there’s something for you. There are dozens of beaches to choose from, many served by a water side walking/cycling track that runs for nearly ten kilometres from Huskisson to Hyams Beach. The calm Bay waters are home to over a hundred of bottlenose dolphins and, from June to November, become one of the best places in Australia to see the annual migration of humpback whales. Get your coffee, food or beer fix at one of the many cafes, restaurants or local breweries. You'll find many more local tips in our booklet inside the property, including our favourite coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, breweries, markets, local walks, beaches, day trips and wildlife sightseeing.

Guest Access

The Twig is all yours to enjoy! You can park on our drive or in the garage. Please note the driveway is steep so if you are more comfortable parking on the street, there is plenty of free and easy street parking. Please note our front entry deck has a drop of just under 1 meter. Please supervise children in this space and note you are responsible for their safety and your own.

- 1 min drive or a short walk to Blenheim and Greenfield Beaches - A few minutes walk to join the waterside walking/cycle track that runs to Huskisson and Hyams Beach taking in spectacular beaches including White Sands Walk - A short walk to Plantation Point Reserve, large grassy picnic area, public BBQs, outdoor gym, playground and rock platform. This is a nature lover's paradise, look out for dolphins, turtles, rays, seals and sometimes even whales (whale season is May - November) - Local Vincentia supermarkets, shops, cafes, takeaways and bottle shops a couple of minutes drive - Five minute drive or a 6km walk to Huskisson town centre - Less than ten minutes drive to Hyams Beach and the Booderee National Park
