House rules

Rise is in a quiet neighbourhood. Please respect those around us and ensure you do not cause any loud noise or music. We do not accept bookings for any parties, schoolies, hens or bucks celebrations. We do not accept groups of guests under the age of 21, a responsible adult must be in attendance at all bookings. No additional visitors beyond those on the booking are allowed onto the property at anytime. Please do not wear shoes inside the house and brush off sand before entering. Please take all your rubbish to outside bins in sealed bags before you check out. Please be courteous to our cleaners and leave the house in a reasonable state. All damages must be paid for. Small dogs are welcome (no cats) - on the condition that guests discuss their pet and its suitability with us in advance. Pets must not go up stairs on the mezzanine or on furniture. There is plenty of space downstairs for them and in our fenced yard. All pet mess must be cleaned up and any excessive dirt or damage will be charged. Pets must not be left home alone. We are bound by the NSW government Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry and as a guest, you are required to abide by these laws. These regulations outline behaviour standards which include ensuring noise does not disturb neighbours, your responsibility for any damage caused to the property and your responsibility for the behaviour of any other guests in your group.

Jervis Bay White sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters have earned Jervis Bay international acclaim for being one of the most spectacular destinations in the world, all less than three hours from Sydney and just two and a half from Canberra. Whether you’re a beach bum, walker, cyclist, water sports enthusiast, nature explorer, foodie or beer & wine lover there’s something for you. There are dozens of beaches to choose from, many served by a water side walking/cycling track that runs for nearly ten kilometres from Huskisson to Hyams Beach. The calm Bay waters are home to over a hundred of bottlenose dolphins and, from June to November, become one of the best places in Australia to see the annual migration of humpback whales. Get your coffee, food or beer fix at one of the many cafes, restaurants or local breweries. You'll find many more local tips in our booklet inside the property, including our favourite coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, breweries, markets, local walks, beaches, day trips and wildlife sightseeing.

Guest access

Please note the stairs to our loft bedroom are VERY steep and VERY narrow. Please be really sure you and your guests are capable and confident to use them before you book. Alternatively there are 2 downstairs bedrooms. We do not recommend anyone with accessibility requirements attempts to use the loft bedroom stairs. We also suggest parents are cautious before booking this property. Due to the design of the stairs, it is not possible to use a stair gate. The balustrade on the loft room is also not suitable for young children. The property is better suited to adults or those with teenage children or non mobile babies. Please remember you're responsible for your own safety and that of fellow guests. The front entrance is also accessed by a small set of steps to the deck.

We had a nice week end in this beautiful house. Everything has been clearly explained, Mel and Alana were super friendly and we had the pleasure of discovering a bottle of sparkling wine when arriving The house was clean and similar to photos
