House rules

The property is in a quiet neighbourhood. Please respect those around us and ensure you do not cause any loud noise or music. We have permanent neighbours nearby and must ensure this rule is adhered to. We do not accept bookings for any parties, schoolies, hens/bucks or other events or celebrations. We do not accept groups of guests under the age of 25, a responsible adult must be in attendance at all bookings. No additional visitors beyond those on the booking are allowed onto the property at anytime. We cater for a maximum of 8 guests. Please do not wear shoes inside the house and brush or rinse off sand before entering. You are responsible for your own safety at all times at the property and whilst using any of the facilities provided. Please take all your rubbish to outside bins in sealed bags before you check out. Please be courteous to our cleaners and leave the house in a reasonable state. All damages must be paid for. We accept pets on request with a $150 fee. Pet rules include no pets on furniture or carpet, all mess and excessive dirt must be cleared up. Damages will be charged. Pets must not be left home alone. We are bound by the NSW government Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry and as a guest, you are required to abide by these laws. These regulations outline behaviour standards which include ensuring noise does not disturb neighbours, your responsibility for any damage caused to the property and your responsibility for the behaviour of any other guests in your group.

Jervis Bay White sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters have earned Jervis Bay international acclaim for being one of the most spectacular destinations in the world, all less than three hours from Sydney and just two and a half from Canberra. Whether you’re a beach bum, walker, cyclist, water sports enthusiast, nature explorer, foodie or beer & wine lover there’s something for you. There are dozens of beaches to choose from, many served by a water side walking/cycling track that runs for nearly ten kilometres from Huskisson to Hyams Beach. The calm Bay waters are home to over a hundred of bottlenose dolphins and, from June to November, become one of the best places in Australia to see the annual migration of humpback whales. Get your coffee, food or beer fix at one of the many cafes, restaurants or local breweries. You'll find many more local tips in our booklet inside the property, including our favourite coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, breweries, markets, local walks, beaches, day trips and wildlife sightseeing.

Guest access

Access to Orion Beach is via the end of backyard of this property across a public pedestrian waterside track. There are a number paths down to the beach from this path. This walking track takes you to Hyams Beach or Huskisson without leaving the water's edge and is perfect for bikes, prams or running. Off street parking on our driveway and plenty of additional, free street parking. Please note 3 of the bedrooms are upstairs. There are also a few steps between the two lower levels meaning guests must be able to climb at least these to access the property.

- At the end of the garden, cross the walking track and access Orion Beach, one of Jervis Bay's best kept secrets. A calm, beautiful white sand beach where dolphins swim close to shore, rays splash in the shallows and eagles fish in the water - Join this waterside walking/cycle track that runs to Huskisson and Hyams Beach taking in spectacular beaches - A short walk to Plantation Point Reserve, large grassy picnic area, public BBQs, outdoor gym, playground and rock platform. This is a nature lover's paradise, look out for dolphins, turtles, rays, seals and sometimes even whales (whale season is May - November) - Local Vincentia supermarkets, shops, cafes, takeaways and bottle shops a couple of minutes drive - Five minute drive or a 5km walk to Huskisson town centre - Less than ten minutes drive to Hyams Beach and the Booderee National Park
