Neighborhood

Wrights Beach is the hidden gem of Jervis Bay. Nestled by the Booderee National Park, on the banks of St Georges Basin, home to the most spectacular sunsets over the water, yet just minutes from the white sandy beaches, boutique shops, breweries and cafes that make the area famous. More about Jervis Bay White sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters have earned Jervis Bay international acclaim for being one of the most spectacular destinations in the world, all less than three hours from Sydney and just two and a half from Canberra. Whether you’re a beach bum, walker, cyclist, water sports enthusiast, nature lover or foodie, there’s something for you. There are dozens of beaches to choose from, many served by a water side walking/cycling track that runs for nearly ten kilometres from Huskisson to Hyams Beach. Whilst in the Booderee National Park (just a few minutes from Jalan Jalan) you’ll find yet more stunning, secluded beaches, kilometres of bush walks and spectacular flora and fauna. Just a few minutes from Jalan Jalan, you'll also find the waters of the Basin where you can swim, fish, sail or paddle and enjoy the most spectacular sunsets. The calm Bay waters are home to over a hundred of bottlenose dolphins and, from June to November, become one of the best places in Australia to see the annual migration of humpback whales.

Guest access

We're found in a crown land park of other holiday cottages properties in Wrights Beach. You find us at the end of the village up a gravel track. It's suitable for all vehicles but guests must obey the speed limit and drive carefully. A small set of steps accesses our deck and entry. Inside there is a steep, narrow staircase to the second mezzanine bedroom which may be tricky for those with mobility limitations and is not recommended for small children. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom still require you to be able to climb a few small steps to the deck.

We had a beautiful long weekend at Jalan Jalan. The little house is in a gorgeous spot on the edge of the National Park and close to some of the best beaches in NSW. Mel and Alana were super helpful and lovely and they have made the space a perfect little paradise - absolutely would stay again!
