House Rules

Beach St Retreat is in a quiet neighbourhood. Please respect those around us and ensure you do not cause any no loud noise or music. We do not accept bookings for any parties, schoolies, hens or bucks celebrations. We do not accept groups of guests under the age of 18, a responsible adult must be in attendance at all bookings. No additional visitors beyond those on the booking are allowed onto the property at anytime. Please do not wear shoes inside the house and shower off sand before entering. We have an outside shower. Please take all your rubbish to outside bins in sealed bags before you check out. If you are staying on a Thursday night, please take outside bins to the end of the drive for collection on Friday morning. Red landfill rubbish is taken weekly and yellow recycling is taken fortnightly, check the street to see whether our neighbours are putting recycling out during your stay. Please then return the bins to the side of the house once they have been collected on Friday morning. Please be courteous to our cleaners and leave the house in a reasonable state. All damages must be paid for. We are bound by the NSW government Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry and as a guest, you are required to abide by these laws. These regulations outline behaviour standards which include ensuring noise does not disturb neighbours, your responsibility for any damage caused to the property and your responsibility for the behaviour of any other guests in your group.

Jervis Bay White sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters have earned Jervis Bay international acclaim for being one of the most spectacular destinations in the world, all less than three hours from Sydney and just two and a half from Canberra. Whether you’re a beach bum, walker, cyclist, water sports enthusiast, nature explorer, foodie or beer & wine lover there’s something for you. There are dozens of beaches to choose from, many served by a water side walking/cycling track that runs for nearly ten kilometres from Huskisson to Hyams Beach. The calm Bay waters are home to over a hundred of bottlenose dolphins and, from June to November, become one of the best places in Australia to see the annual migration of humpback whales. Get your coffee, food or beer fix at one of the many cafes, restaurants or local breweries. Undercover, off street parking at the front of the property with further space on driveway for additional cars. The house is one level with access to the outside areas via small single steps at each side. Maximum carport height is 2.5m. Any damage to carport will be charged

Great spot a short walk to shops and cafes as well as the beach. Super kid friendly house, clean and comfortable. We had a great stay and Mel and Alana were super responsive and helpful with local tips. Hope to visit again soon!

We got a good price cause of a late booking, and we absolutely loved the place. It looks like a brand new place inside even thought it’s and older house who has been renovated. It’s right next to the beach and the little shopping square in Vencentia. The owners have a lot of recommendations to what to see in the area (there’s a really helpfull brochure/internet page) and reply right away when we had questions. They have our fully recommendation.

This holiday home was excellent. It was very clean, modern and nicely renovated. It had a very well equipped kitchen, including a coffee machine and coffee pods. Great barbecue. The beds were comfortable. The location was perfect, as it was a walking distance to the supermarket and a small shopping centre. It was also a walking distance to the beach. It was a short drive to Huskisson, where there are a lot of restaurants, only 4 km away. The location was very quiet, which we appreciated. Jervis Bay Area has many beautiful beaches to visit. We went to a different one every day. We had a very enjoyable time. Thank you.

We had the absolute BEST stay! The hosts were extremely friendly, proactive and responsive, the house was spotless and full of everything you could need, the location was peaceful but a short stroll to the beach or drive into town. We really couldn’t ask for more! The extra thoughtful touches like toys and play equipment were an added bonus that made our family trip unforgettable. Would highly recommend!

We had such a beautiful weekend away. Beach Street was perfect for our little family — a comfortable, spotless home set up with toddler safety in mind. The kitchen was fantastic, and the thoughtful touches throughout made everything so easy. We especially loved that beach toys were provided, along with a toddler-friendly backyard, portacot and high chair, all in excellent condition. Mel and Alana were incredibly welcoming and quick to respond. We’ll most definitely be back!
