Step foot inside Amethyst and instantly feel relaxed, with gentle waves lapping just meters from you, breathtaking water views and lush native trees all around, this is one of the most desirable properties in Jervis Bay. Absolute beachfront on peaceful Orions Beach - a hidden gem amongst the bay's multiple white sandy beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters. Look out for local wildlife with dolphins in the shallows and echidnas in the bush amongst many more. The house itself has been modernised with a focus on comfort and a strong creative flair. Modern refreshes and furnishings have been carefully chosen alongside spectacular artworks to celebrate the home's 70s roots. The living space boasts incredible views to Jervis Bay but the real star of Amethyst is the huge back deck overlooking the water. Lounge on the extremely comfortable outdoor lounge, cook up a storm on the BBQ and enjoy the large dining space before lighting the fire pit and watching Jervis Bay's night sky light up. Other Details to Note

We're a beachfront property and have lush bushes and trees surrounding us.This makes it a beautiful spot but one that is affected by the weather. Seaspray can quickly land and leaves fall in the garden. We are happy to consider pets but have strict rules about their behaviour and an additional $150 fee will be applied to your booking if you bring them along. Any guest wishing to book with a pet must have prior positive reviews from other Airbnb hosts. Pets are not permitted upstairs or on any furniture, all pet mess must be cleaned up before departure. Any damage or dirt caused by pets will incur an additional fee and will be reported to Airbnb. PID-STRA-64585

House rules

This property is in a quiet neighbourhood. Please respect those around us and ensure you do not cause any loud noise or music. We do not accept bookings for any parties, schoolies, hens or bucks celebrations. We do not accept groups of guests under the age of 21, a responsible adult must be in attendance at all bookings. We prefer a max of 8 adults and 2 children. Guests with more than 8 adults must request this at time of booking. No additional visitors beyond those on the booking are allowed onto the property at anytime. Please do not wear shoes inside the house and brush or rinse off sand before entering. Please take all your rubbish to outside bins in sealed bags before you check out. Please be courteous to our cleaners and leave the house in a reasonable state. All damages must be paid for. Pets are welcome (with a pet fee applicable) but must not be allowed on furniture, on carpet or upstairs in the property. All pet mess must be cleaned up and disposed of appropriately. Any dirt from your pet must also be cleaned. Any damage caused by pets will be reported to Airbnb and charged to guests as will additional cleaning incurred because of a pet. We are bound by the NSW government Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry and as a guest, you are required to abide by these laws. These regulations outline behaviour standards which include ensuring noise does not disturb neighbours, your responsibility for any damage caused to the property and your responsibility for the behaviour of any other guests in your group.

Jervis Bay White sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters have earned Jervis Bay international acclaim for being one of the most spectacular destinations in the world, all less than three hours from Sydney and just two and a half from Canberra. Whether you’re a beach bum, walker, cyclist, water sports enthusiast, nature explorer, foodie or beer & wine lover there’s something for you. There are dozens of beaches to choose from, many served by a water side walking/cycling track that runs for nearly ten kilometres from Huskisson to Hyams Beach. The calm Bay waters are home to over a hundred of bottlenose dolphins and, from June to November, become one of the best places in Australia to see the annual migration of humpback whales. Get your coffee, food or beer fix at one of the many cafes, restaurants or local breweries. We have plenty of private parking on our large driveway. You will also find easy, free street parking outside the property should you have multiple vehicles or boats. Please note this property is split over two levels and has stairs. There is also an open mezzanine with balustrade to one queen room and the second lounge area making these rooms unsuitable for young children.

- Absolute beachfront on Orion Beach, one of Jervis Bay's best kept secrets. A calm, beautiful white sand beach where dolphins swim close to shore, rays splash in the shallows and eagles fish in the water. Take a short walk to the beach access from the street - A few minutes walk to join the waterside walking/cycle track that runs to Huskisson and Hyams Beach taking in spectacular beaches - A short walk to Plantation Point Reserve, large grassy picnic area, public BBQs, outdoor gym, playground and rock platform. This is a nature lover's paradise, look out for dolphins, turtles, rays, seals and sometimes even whales (whale season is May - November) - Local Vincentia supermarkets, shops, cafes, takeaways and bottle shops a couple of minutes drive - Five minute drive or a 5km walk to Huskisson town centre - Less than ten minutes drive to Hyams Beach and the Booderee National Park - For pet owners, Orion Beach is an on leash dog beach whilst Nelsons Beach just minutes away has off leash times each morning and afternoon
