House Rules

The property is in a quiet neighbourhood. Please respect those around us and ensure you do not cause any loud noise or music. We have permanent neighbours nearby and must ensure this rule is adhered to. We do not accept bookings for any parties, schoolies, hens or bucks celebrations. We do not accept groups of guests under the age of 25, a responsible adult must be in attendance at all bookings. No additional visitors beyond those on the booking are allowed onto the property at anytime. Please do not wear shoes inside the house and rinse off sand before entering. Please take all your rubbish to outside bins in sealed bags before you check out. Please be courteous to our cleaners and leave the house in a reasonable state. All damages must be paid for. Pets are welcome (with a pet fee applicable) but must not be allowed on furniture. All pet mess must be cleaned up and disposed of appropriately. Any dirt from your pet must also be cleaned. Any damage caused by pets will be reported to Airbnb and charged to guests as will additional cleaning incurred because of a pet. Pets must not be left unattended. We are bound by the NSW government Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry and as a guest, you are required to abide by these laws. These regulations outline behaviour standards which include ensuring noise does not disturb neighbours, your responsibility for any damage caused to the property and your responsibility for the behaviour of any other guests in your group

Jervis Bay White sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters have earned Jervis Bay international acclaim for being one of the most spectacular destinations in the world, all less than three hours from Sydney and just two and a half from Canberra. Whether you’re a beach bum, walker, cyclist, water sports enthusiast, nature explorer, foodie or beer & wine lover there’s something for you. There are dozens of beaches to choose from, many served by a water side walking/cycling track that runs for nearly ten kilometres from Huskisson to Hyams Beach. The calm Bay waters are home to over a hundred of bottlenose dolphins and, from June to November, become one of the best places in Australia to see the annual migration of humpback whales. You'll find many more local tips in our booklet inside the house, including our favourite coffee shops, breweries, bakeries, restaurants, markets, local walks, beaches, day trips and wildlife sightseeing.

Guest Access

The Banks is a two storey home. There are a few stairs to the front door and a flight of stairs to the back deck. If you have guests joining you who cannot climb a full flight of stairs, there is one queen bedroom and a bathroom downstairs along with the living, dining and kitchen spaces. Up a full flight of stairs you will find three more bedrooms and two bathrooms. We have a driveway that fits 2 cars. Additional, free street parking is available but please be mindful of our neighbours. The garage here is private and not for guest use.

- We are right on Currambene Creek - there is a small local boat ramp in the reserve by us, accessed by driving over grass and suitable for small boats only - From The Banks you can easily walk to the breweries and bakeries in Woollamia. We have award winning, craft breweries here! - It's an easy and nice walk into the centre of Huskisson, its cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs, breweries and beaches - Larger Vincentia supermarkets, shops, cafes, takeaways and bottle shops ten minutes drive - Less than fifteen minutes drive to Hyams Beach and the Booderee National Park
